DUBAI – Al Nasr Club were the dominant side in the inaugural Dubai Sports Council Youth Basketball and Minibasket Championship, winning the Under-10 title and finishing runners-up in two other categories.

Organized by Jam Sports Academy in collaboration the UAE Basketball Association, and sponsored by AOC Gaming, Dubai Sports Council Youth Basketball and Minibasket Championship was held from March 29 to May 3, with 24 teams representing five private academies and three local clubs, Al Nasr, Al Wasl and Sharjah, and more than 400 players taking part.

Al Nasr edged Jam Sports Academy 72-69 in the Under-10 final and came close to winning a second title, but were denied by Jam Sports Academy in the Under-12 final, losing 93-95. In the Under-16 final, they lost 66-92 to Sharjah Club.

In the Under-14 category, PSSA defeated Jam Sports Academy 62-57 for the title, while Al Nasr finished third, defeating Skywalker Academy 74-44.
