Dubai Police organises \'Your Voice is Heard\' Event for Al Muraqqabat Residents

Dubai: Dubai Police, represented by the Al Muraqqabat Police Station and the Positive Spirit Council, organized an open meeting for Al Muraqqabat residents as part of the "Your Voice is Heard" initiative. 

This event aims to enhance communication, foster direct interaction, and encourage community participation in providing feedback and suggestions.

The meeting took place in the Burj Nahar area, where Dubai Police engaged with residents of Al Muraqqabat. They listened to their inquiries and feedback about the services provided to enhance safety and community happiness. The officers addressed inquiries and offered valuable guidance to benefit the community.

The event was attended by Brigadier Abdul Moneim Abdul Rahman Warsho, Deputy Director of Al Muraqqabat Police Station; Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Sultan Al Shamsi, Director of Administrative Affairs at the Station; Captain Saeed Ghadir, Deputy Chairperson of the Positive Spirit Council; Mr. Mohammad Al Hajjaji, General Coordinator of the Council; along with several officers and Al Muraqqabat residents.

Meeting Objectives 
Brig. Abdul Moneim Warsho explained that the meeting is part of the directives from His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, emphasizing the importance of effective and constructive direct communication with community members. "The aim is to assess the quality of services provided to them and to consider all the feedback and suggestions they offer," he continued.

Brig. Abdul Moneim Warsho also underscored that the "Your Voice is Heard" initiative aims to raise community members' awareness about the services Dubai Police provides, strengthen communication channels, and gather feedback and suggestions from the public. He expressed his gratitude to the attendees for participating in the meeting. 

Dubai Police Services 
The meeting with the Muraqqabat community members featured a detailed presentation on the Force's services and initiatives designed to bring happiness to the public and strengthen security and safety. This included the 'e-crime' platform for reporting cybercrime, the 'Police Eye' service, and the awareness programs and initiatives offered by the International Hemaya Center regarding the risks and dangers of drugs to both individuals and society.
 
The attendees also learned about the "Positive Spirit" initiative, which aims to organize events that strengthen the connection between Dubai Police and the community, encourage sports as a way of life, and promote a healthy lifestyle for everyone.

People of Determination
The initiative also included a workshop on sign language basics led by Expert Mohammad Al Hajjaji. This workshop is part of Dubai Police's commitment to promoting community inclusion and empowering people of determination by fostering a culture of learning sign language. Moreover, attendees learned about the various services provided by Dubai Police for people of determination and received guidance on how to access these resources through the appropriate channels.
