Dubai Police Academy Celebrates Graduation of 400 Cadet Officers and Non-Commissioned Officers

Dubai: His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, attended the graduation ceremony of 400 cadets and non-commissioned officers from Dubai Police, Dubai Civil Defence, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, and the Security of Transport Department. The ceremony took place at the parade grounds of Dubai Police Academy.

The event was attended by senior officials, including the Deputies of Dubai Police Commander-in-Chief, Assistant Commanders, Directors of General Departments and Police Stations, high-ranking officers, and the graduates’ families.

Lt. Gen. Al Marri congratulated the graduates, reaffirming Dubai Police’s commitment to continuously preparing and empowering security personnel with the skills and capabilities needed to carry out their duties with distinction. He highlighted the critical role of trained officers in ensuring public safety, upholding justice, and maintaining law and order across the nation for citizens, residents, and visitors alike.

Addressing the 400 graduates, Lt. Gen. Al Marri urged them to serve with integrity, dedication, and a strong work ethic. He encouraged them to pursue ongoing education and professional development to align with Dubai’s vision of investing in human capital. He called on them to embody high moral values and professionalism when dealing with the public of all backgrounds, serving as ambassadors of the police force and demonstrating unwavering commitment to national security.

Brigadier Dr. Sultan Al Jammal, Director of Dubai Police Academy, expressed pride in the graduation of a new cohort of officers, noting that the academy is dedicated to continuously developing its training programmes to equip cadets with the competencies required for operational excellence. He added that the academy has earned a global reputation, rivalling leading police and military institutions, thanks to the support of the wise leadership and the provision of world-class resources and facilities.

The ceremony commenced with the UAE national anthem, followed by Lt. Gen. Al Marri inspecting the graduation parade, accompanied by Brigadier Badran Al Shamsi, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Training and Academics, and Brigadier Dr. Al Jammal. After a recitation from the Holy Quran, the graduates delivered a series of disciplined military displays, showcasing confidence and pride.

Lt. Gen. Al Marri then presented awards to the top-performing cadets. After reciting the oath of loyalty and commitment, the parade commander requested permission to march off the field.
