Dubai Police and MBRSG Celebrate Inaugural Cohort of Strategic Partnerships Diploma

Dubai: Dubai Police, in collaboration with the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG), celebrated the graduation of the inaugural cohort of the Executive Diploma in Strategic Partnership Management in Government.

Held at Dubai Police Officers Club, the ceremony marked the graduation of 25 officers from various sectors within Dubai Police in the presence of by H.E. Dr Major General Ahmad Zaal Bin Krishan Almheiri, Acting Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, H.E. Abdullah Ali Bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director General of the Dubai Government Human Resources Department and Chairman of MBRSG’s Board of Trustees. 

Also in attendance were Dubai Police’s Assistant Commandants and senior officers including; Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri, Director of the General Department of Community Happiness and Chair of the Partnership Criterion for Dubai Government Excellence Programme (the Elite). 

Enhancing Government Performance

H.E. Dr Major General Ahmad Zaal Almheiri congratulated the graduates on completing the academic and practical requirements of the diploma. He highlighted the diploma’s contribution to enhancing both institutional and individual performance within government work, praising MBRSG’s delivery of a high-calibre programme that blends theory with application.

Investing in Government Talent

H.E. Abdullah Al Falasi expressed his pride in the graduates and emphasised the significance of launching such a programme, describing it as the result of strong institutional cooperation between Dubai Police and MBRSG. He noted that the diploma reflects a shared commitment to cultivating governmental excellence and promoting a culture of integration and institutional synergy.

“This diploma was designed to serve as an advanced educational platform to refine participants’ skills in strategic thinking and partnership building,” said Al Falasi. “It aligns with Dubai’s vision of leadership and excellence in public service. Through applied, executive learning models based on global best practices, we are shaping leaders capable of navigating challenges and transforming them into opportunities.”

He also praised Dubai Police’s key role in ensuring the success of the programme, calling for continued collaboration on future initiatives that support institutional excellence across Dubai and the UAE.

A Strategic Collaboration

The diploma is the first of its kind and follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Dubai Police and MBRSG during Dubai Police’s participation in GITEX Global 2024. The agreement aimed to strengthen cooperation in areas of mutual interest, particularly in executive education focused on strategic government partnerships.

Programme Highlights

The Executive Diploma in Strategic Partnership Management in Government was designed to equip participants with both theoretical frameworks and practical tools for building and managing effective inter-agency partnerships. The curriculum included case studies, self-learning components, field visits, and practical projects.

The event concluded with a commemorative photo featuring H.E. Abdullah Al Falasi, H.E. Dr Major General Ahmad Zaal Almheiri, the graduates, and officials from both institutions, celebrating a significant milestone in the journey towards enhancing government excellence in Dubai.
