Al Khawaneej Police Strengthens Community Ties Through ‘Your Happiness is Our Happiness’

Dubai: Brigadier Ali Rashid Murkhan Al Ketbi, Director of Al Khawaneej Police Station, affirmed Dubai Police’s commitment to ensuring the sustainability and quality of services delivered to the community, highlighting the importance of monitoring workflow at customer happiness centres. 

He noted that direct interaction with customers provides an opportunity to listen to their feedback, suggestions, and development ideas, while strengthening communication and enhancing customer satisfaction.

This came as Brigadier Al Ketbi personally supervised the processing of public transactions at the Customer Happiness Section of Al Khawaneej Police Station. He also met with a number of customers in the area of jurisdiction, which includes both residential and commercial districts, stressing the need to deliver outstanding services that meet their expectations and bring them happiness.

He explained that this field supervision falls under the “Your Happiness is Our Happiness” initiative launched by Dubai Police to enhance the customer experience. The initiative also introduces a monthly recognition programme across police stations to honour employees who excel in serving the community, thereby encouraging initiative and creativity in police work. September has been dedicated entirely to customer service in police stations, with employees competing positively to deliver premium services. At the end of the month, a comprehensive survey will be conducted to measure customer satisfaction at every station, reinforcing Dubai Police’s journey of government excellence and smart services.

Brigadier Al Ketbi stressed that customer happiness departments represent the face of any governmental or private sector entity, as they are directly responsible for service delivery and interaction with the public. Dubai Police, therefore, ensures that these departments align with global standards of excellence in customer care, where service is considered the responsibility of every employee, from managers to frontline staff.

He also briefed customers on the wide range of Dubai Police services available through police stations, the official website, the smart application, the Smart Police Stations (SPS), and the 901 call centre.

During the visit, Brigadier Al Ketbi and the station’s officials listened to customers’ comments and enquiries on various topics, emphasising that such meetings and forums will continue to address their needs and feedback.

For their part, customers expressed appreciation to Dubai Police for its proactive and respectful services to people of all nationalities. They also thanked the management of Al Khawaneej Police Station for the warm reception and excellent service.
