Sharjah: Air Arabia has announced the launch of new non-stop flights connecting Sharjah and London Gatwick, beginning March 29, 2026. The airline will operate two daily flights on this route using its Airbus A321neo LR aircraft, broadening travel options between the UAE and the UK.

Adel Al Ali, the group CEO, described the new service as an important step in the airline’s expansion strategy. He noted that the addition of London Gatwick strengthens Air Arabia’s network while maintaining its focus on providing affordable and convenient travel. He added that the route will serve both business and leisure passengers looking for direct, reliable connections between the two countries.

Jonathan Pollard, chief commercial officer at London Gatwick, said that demand for travel to Middle Eastern destinations has surged this year. He noted that the airport is pleased to offer travellers in London and the South East an expanding selection of routes and airlines. Pollard added that this is an exciting moment for Gatwick, especially after the recent government approval for regular operations on its Northern Runway. He expressed enthusiasm about welcoming Air Arabia in March and providing passengers direct access to Sharjah and the broader Middle East.
