Dubai: Dubai Police organised the ‘Your Voice Is Heard’ community initiative in the Al Ttay area as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen communication with the public and listen directly to community feedback and suggestions.

The event was organised by Al Khawaneej Police Station in collaboration with the Positive Spirit Council and several strategic partners. It aimed to bring police closer to the community, encourage open dialogue, and give residents and workers the opportunity to share their views on Dubai Police services.

The event was attended by Colonel Adel Mousa Al Baloushi, Deputy Director of Al Khawaneej Police Station, and Ms Fatima Bohjair, Chairperson of the Positive Spirit Council and Head of the Cultural Diversity Section at the General Department of Community Happiness, along with a number of officers, staff members, and the Neighbourhood Police team.

Around 800 workers took part in the event and benefited from a range of awareness programmes, educational talks, and sports activities designed to promote safety, wellbeing, and positive community engagement.

Colonel Adel Al Baloushi said the event reflects Dubai Police’s commitment to engaging directly with the community and listening closely to people’s views. He explained that such initiatives help improve services in line with the highest standards and contribute to building trust between the police and the public. He added that Dubai Police works closely with other government entities to deliver integrated services that support quality of life across Dubai.

Ms Fatima Bohjair said the event was held alongside the Al Khawaneej Community Forum organised by the Council to further strengthen ties with the community. She noted that these initiatives promote tolerance, positive coexistence, constructive dialogue, and healthy lifestyles, highlighting sport as an effective social tool within residential areas.
