Arab Artists Unite on Anghami for ‘Aktar Men Ayya Waqt’
- April 04, 2026
Dubai: In a rare cross-regional collaboration, leading artists from across the Arab world have come together on Anghami to release “Aktar Men Ayya Waqt” (“More Than Ever”), a timely track reflecting a shared moment of emotion, connection, and resilience across the region.
Launching on Anghami, the track brings together voices from across the Middle East, featuring AbdulAziz Louis, Aseel Hameem, Bader AlShuaibi, Ghaliaa, Jaber Al Turki, Salim Assaf, and Sultan Khalifa - representing a diverse mix of generations, styles and geographies across the Arab world.
Developed over a short period of time and recorded across multiple locations, the collaboration was driven directly by the artists themselves, facilitated by Anghami, each contributing their voice and perspective from different parts of the region.
Written across Levantine and Khaleeji dialects, the song blends different musical styles and expressions, reflecting the richness and diversity of the region, while carrying a unified message of empathy, resilience, and shared experience.
Enabled by Anghami, the project highlights the platform's role in connecting artists across borders and facilitating creative collaboration at scale, particularly during moments that call for collective expression.
The accompanying video brings together artist performances with scenes inspired by everyday life across the region, capturing a sense of closeness, familiarity, and shared human experience.
The release builds on Anghami’s long-standing belief in music as a powerful connector, especially during defining moments that resonate across borders.
Reflecting on the spirit behind the project and the role of music bringing people together, Eddy Maroun, Co-founder of Anghami said: “‘Aktar Men Ayya Waqt’ is a reminder of what music can do so naturally - bring people together, carry emotion and create a sense of closeness across borders. What makes this project so powerful is that it came directly from the artists, driven by a shared desire to express something real.”
Echoing this sentiment, Lebanese singer-songwriter and composer Salim Assaf added on what brought the artists together: "They said yes because, in this moment, music is not just art - it is connection, memory, and hope."
From its multi-artist collaboration to its cross-regional production, “Aktar Men Ayya Waqt” stands as a reflection of different voices and perspectives, coming together through music.
