Dubai: As part of the “Proud of UAE” campaign, Dubai Police organised a vibrant national event in collaboration with the Positive Spirit Council, bringing together students from Al Mawakeb School in Al Khawaneej to celebrate the UAE pride in a festive and patriotic atmosphere.

The initiative was led by the Search and Rescue Department at the General Department of Transport and Rescue, reflecting Dubai Police’s continued commitment to strengthening national identity among younger generations.

Colonel Khalid Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Director of the Search and Rescue Department, attended the event and highlighted the importance of instilling values of loyalty and belonging in the hearts of youth. He praised the programme’s content and its role in nurturing a strong sense of national pride.

The celebration featured a lively performance by the Dubai Police band, alongside appearances by beloved characters “Rescuer Khalid” and “Officer Amina”, who brought joy and excitement to the students.

Children also took part in creative activities, including an art corner where they expressed their love for the UAE through drawings. A standout initiative invited students to leave their handprints on a map of the UAE using the colours of the national flag, forming a collective artwork symbolising unity and belonging.

The event concluded with the distribution of UAE flags and gifts to students and attendees, as well as a recognition ceremony honouring Al Mawakeb School and the Positive Spirit Council, followed by commemorative photos.
