Dubai: Dubai Police, through the Positive Spirit Council, have concluded the Community Padel Tennis Championship, held in collaboration with the Officers Club, with 55 players representing diverse segments of the community.

The championship highlighted Dubai Police’s continued focus on community engagement through sport, creating a vibrant platform that brought individuals and families together in a shared, active environment. Beyond competition, the event encouraged stronger social connections and reinforced the role of sport in building healthier, more connected communities.
Aligned with the Year of Family 2026, the initiative supported efforts to promote family cohesion and wellbeing. Parents and children took part side by side, turning the tournament into a dynamic setting for interaction, teamwork, and mutual support, while encouraging younger generations to embrace active lifestyles.
Fatima Bohjair, Chairperson of the Positive Spirit Council, underlined that such initiatives form part of a broader vision to enhance quality of life and strengthen social bonds across the community. She reaffirmed the council’s commitment to delivering impactful programmes that combine social and sporting value, while supporting Dubai Police’s direction in fostering community happiness and cohesion.
