Dubai Police Commander-in-Chief Inspects Al Qusais Police Station

Dubai: His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, conducted an inspection tour of Al Qusais Police Station as part of the annual inspection programme for general departments and police stations. The visit aimed to review the efficiency of security operations, examine operational and service performance indicators, and assess the station's readiness to enhance safety, security, and community service.

H.E. Al Marri was accompanied by H.E. Major General Harib Mohammed Al Shamsi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Affairs; His Excellency Major General Eid Mohammed Thani, Assistant Commandant for Criminal Investigation Affairs; Brigadier Majid Al Suwaidi, Director of the General Department of Police Stations, and his deputy for Deira Stations, Brigadier Sultan Al Owais; Brigadier Dr. Ibrahim bin Saba, Deputy Director of the General Department of Excellence and Pioneering; Brigadier Ahmed Al Muhairi, Director of the Inspection and Oversight Department; Lieutenant Colonel Rashid Al Maqbali, Director of Al Qusais Police Station, and his deputy, Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Al Hashimi; Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Abdulrazzaq Abdulrahim, Head of the Inspection Section; and several officers.


During the inspection, Al Marri reviewed the station's operational performance, inspection results, and the transactions processed during 2025, alongside report-handling mechanisms, response times, and the approved security and preventive plans for community security.

The station presented key statistics on its area of jurisdiction, which spans 11 districts across 59 square kilometres and serves a population of over 1,302,000. The Muhaisnah 2 area accounts for approximately 40% of the total, with over 527,000 residents.


Al Marri was briefed on the key strategic indicators recorded by the station. These included an emergency response time of 1.54 minutes against a target of 2 minutes and 45 seconds, a safety perception rate of 98.5%, and trust in the local police station reaching 99%. The sense of safety while walking at night stood at 98.5%, while customer happiness scored 95.4% and employee happiness reached 97%. The station also achieved a 98.7% rating in the mystery shopper evaluation.

Furthermore, the station recorded several institutional achievements, including winning three institutional excellence awards and registering two intellectual works. It also won the Minister of Interior's Award for the silver category for comprehensive police stations, the Best Station in Customer Happiness Award, and the Commander-in-Chief's Award for Best General Duty Section.

The Dubai Police Commander-in-Chief affirmed that these results reflect the efficiency of Force's security and service system and its commitment to developing police work according to international best practices, enhancing quality of life and cementing community safety and security.

At the end of the inspection, Al Marri thanked officers, non-commissioned officers, and civilian staff at Al Qusais Police Station, commending their dedication and role in achieving security and service goals. He urged them to maintain their pursuit of excellence and innovation to elevate the quality of police services provided to the public.
