Dubai: His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, toured the Dubai Police stand participating in the ninth edition of the International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience (ISNR 2026) at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. He was accompanied by Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, Assistant Commandant for Operations Affairs; Brigadier Badran Al Shamsi, Assistant Commandant for Academy and Training Affairs; along with a number of general department directors, officers, and specialists.

Al Marri affirmed that the Force's participation aligns with the wise leadership's vision to cement the UAE's position as a global model for security, stability, and future preparedness. He noted that Dubai Police continues to enhance its security system by adopting the latest smart solutions and advanced technologies that boost the efficiency of police work and the quality of life in society.

He added that the Force firmly believes that investing in innovation, artificial intelligence, and modern technology is a fundamental pillar for shaping the future of security and confronting accelerating challenges with efficiency and flexibility, in line with the highest international standards. He stressed that participating in ISNR 2026 reflects Dubai Police's commitment to strengthening strategic partnerships and exchanging expertise with security institutions and specialized entities from around the world, supporting the journey of sustainable development and entrenching the security and safety system.

Services & Events
During his visit, Al Mari was briefed on a number of services, most notably the Traffic Safety Platform, an electronic awareness platform designed to enhance traffic safety and educate various segments of society—including pedestrians, drivers, and school students—on road safety measures, raise their awareness of traffic laws, and promote compliance with traffic rules and regulations, thereby contributing to enhanced road safety.

Autonomous Patrol
Furthermore, Al Marri was also reviewed the M01 autonomous patrol, the new generation of self-driving security vehicles designed for surveillance and rapid response missions. The vehicle is distinguished by its ability to turn and manoeuvre in urban environments and on open roads, and is equipped with advanced sensor systems, radars, and 360-degree cameras. These patrols form part of a comprehensive vision to develop smart security systems and increase operational efficiency.

WPS
The Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police then listened to an overview of the key agendas and preparations for Dubai Police's major specialised events, most notably the agenda of the World Police Summit (WPS), scheduled to be held from 16 to 18 November at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The summit brings together police leaders, security experts, and decision-makers from around the world to discuss the most pressing contemporary security challenges and explore ways to enhance joint cooperation and find solutions in the fields of security, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and combating organised crime.

SWAT Challenge
Al Marri also received a briefing on the preparations for the UAE SWAT Challenge, one of the most prominent international specialised events for tactical teams, in which elite specialised units from around the world compete each year. The challenge aims to exchange expertise, provide an opportunity to learn about the latest global practices in the field of rapid intervention units, and measure efficiency and readiness in dealing with various challenges.
