Dubai: Under the umbrella of the Ministry of Interior, the General Command of Dubai Police, represented by the Positive Spirit Council, Jebel Ali Police Station, and the General Department of Human Rights, in cooperation with strategic partners, organised a series of awareness lectures reaching approximately 3,000 workers in the labour accommodations of Jebel Ali. The sessions focused on security, community engagement, and traffic safety.

The initiative reflects Dubai Police's ongoing commitment to fostering a culture of security and social responsibility among workers, while reinforcing the principles of safety and prevention. Furthermore, It forms part of broader efforts to cultivate a safe and stable working environment, elevate quality of life, and promote positive coexistence across all segments of society.

The lectures covered a range of important topics, including adherence to traffic regulations and public safety, human rights awareness, and available communication channels. Attendees were introduced to the "Victim Support" service offered by the General Department of Police Stations, as well as the e-Crime platform operated by the General Department of Criminal Investigation for reporting cybercrime.

The lectures also raised awareness around various forms of fraud. In addition, the General Department of Operations contributed to the effort by reminding workers to use 999 strictly for emergencies and 901 for non-emergency situations and general inquiries. Workers were also guided on how to access Dubai Police's security, criminal, and traffic services through the Dubai Police smart app and website, including the "Police Eye" service. The event drew strong community turnout and featured a lively programme of entertainment.

Alongside the educational sessions, workers took part in a variety of recreational activities, including sports and community games designed to bring happiness, encourage positive interaction, and reinforce values of happiness and social cohesion. The atmosphere reflected Dubai Police's deep commitment to supporting the labour community and continuously improving their quality of life.
