UAE, Eswatini Sign Mutual Visa Waiver Agreement to Boost Bilateral Ties

Abu Dhabi: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Kingdom of Eswatini have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the mutual exemption of entry visa requirements, marking a significant step toward strengthening bilateral relations and facilitating travel between the two countries.

The agreement was signed by Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of State, and Princess Lindiwe, Eswatini’s Minister of Home Affairs.

Officials from both countries stated that the visa waiver agreement reflects their shared commitment to enhancing cooperation and expanding opportunities for engagement across various sectors by making travel more accessible for citizens of both nations.

The new arrangement is expected to promote stronger people-to-people connections while supporting increased business activities, investment opportunities, tourism, and official exchanges between the UAE and Eswatini.

According to both sides, the agreement forms part of ongoing efforts to deepen diplomatic and economic relations and create new avenues for collaboration in areas of mutual interest.

The UAE and Eswatini reaffirmed their commitment to advancing bilateral cooperation and strengthening the longstanding friendship between the two countries. They also expressed confidence that the agreement will contribute to further growth in trade, investment, and broader partnerships in the years ahead.
