Dubai: Dubai Police, represented by "Your Commitment is Happiness" initiative, continues to organise awareness activities for private school students, focusing on the responsibilities of sports spectators and promoting positive sportsmanship.

The initiative visited the American School of Creative Science (ASCS) Nad Al Sheba, where students were given a detailed explanation of sports fans' responsibilities as outlined in Federal Law No. 8 of 2014 concerning the security of sports facilities and events.

During the awareness session, Lieutenant Nabet Sultan Al Ketbi affirmed that the "Your Commitment is Happiness" initiative aims to enhance communication with sports fans from all segments of society and reinforce a culture of positive cheering that reflects the nation's civilised image in sports stadiums.

He further explained that the initiative works to raise spectators' awareness about the limits of cheering in accordance with Federal Law concerning the Security of Sports Facilities and Events.

Lt. Al Ketbi pointed out that the provisions of Federal Law No. 8 of 2014 ensure the implementation of all safety measures for athletes and various facilities across the country. “This is achieved through advanced security standards and protocols that align with international regulations for organising security at sports festivals and events at the highest levels.”
