\'Journalists\' Solidarity\' approves loan applications worth AED 450,000 for its members

Dubai: The Board of Directors of the Emirates Journalists Association's Social Solidarity Fund (EJA) approved the granting of loans totaling AED 450,000 during its second meeting for 2026.

During the meeting, the Board approved the adoption of 3 new membership files, as part of the Fund's continuous efforts to expand the base of beneficiaries of its services and promote the values of solidarity and solidarity among the Society's member journalists.

Raya Al Mazrouei, Secretary of the Fund, confirmed that the approved loans come within a new batch of applications from members who meet the conditions stipulated in the Fund's Articles of Association, explaining that the repayment of these loans is done over a period of two years, taking into account the financial conditions of the members and enhancing the spirit of cooperation and solidarity between them.

She added that the Board approved the Etihad Credit Information Report as one of the mandatory documents required to obtain loans.

The Board also discussed a number of topics on the agenda, stressing the importance of continuing to develop the regulations and procedures governing the work of the Fund, in order to contribute to enhancing its efficiency and the sustainability of its services provided to its members.

The meeting was attended by: Fadila Al-Muaini, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Kaltham Al-Mandous, Vice Chairman, Raya Al-Mazrouei, Secretary, and Wafa Al-Suwaidi, Member of the Board of Directors.
