Brigadier Dr Abdurrahman Sharaf Al Maamari, Director of the Hemaya International Centre at the General Department of Anti-Narcotics and General Supervisor of the Summer Programme, visited several training centres to review the progress of activities organised under the theme Our Summer… Security, Happiness, Innovation and Leadership.
The programme is delivered in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department, the Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, Erada Centre for Treatment and Rehabilitation, Al Ameen Service and Furjan Dubai.
During the visit, Brigadier Dr Al Maamari reaffirmed Dubai Police’s commitment to organising summer programmes that make productive use of students’ school holidays while strengthening national identity, respect for laws and regulations, loyalty to the leadership, and developing a generation of socially aware and responsible young people.
