Dubai: The Positive Spirit Council at Dubai Police, in collaboration with the General Department of Police Stations, represented by Jebel Ali Police Station, and with the participation of strategic partners, organised a series of security, traffic, and community awareness lectures on Sunday, 23 August 2026. The event took place at the SK Group Facilities Housing in Dubai Investment Park 1, attracting 1,300 attendees.

The lectures were part of the Council's ongoing efforts to strengthen security awareness across all segments of society. By delivering these messages directly to the public in their own communities, the initiative reinforced the concept of community partnership and fostered positive communication between residents and Dubai Police.

The sessions covered a range of key topics, including services provided by the Victim Support Section and available communication channels, traffic safety and the importance of adhering to traffic laws to reduce accidents, and the correct procedures for contacting the Operations Room and reporting emergencies.

The event also highlighted a number of Dubai Police services, raising awareness of available smart and digital platforms and encouraging their use to save time and effort, while making communication with Dubai Police easier and faster.

Ms. Fatima Buhajeer, Chairperson of the Positive Spirit Council, affirmed that organising awareness lectures in residential areas and labour accommodations reflects Dubai Police's commitment to reaching all segments of society. She stated: "At the Positive Spirit Council, we are keen to ensure that our awareness messages are close to the public and relevant to their daily needs, and to reach them where they are, enhancing their knowledge of proper security and traffic procedures, and introducing them to the services and channels that Dubai Police provides to serve and protect them."

Buhajeer added that the attendance of 1,300 people reflects the importance of these direct meetings and their role in delivering awareness messages to a wide range of community members. She confirmed that the Council, in collaboration with police stations and strategic partners, will continue to implement programmes and initiatives that contribute to enhancing quality of life, spreading a culture of awareness and prevention, and reinforcing the values of security, tolerance, and positive coexistence in Dubai's community.
