Dubai: The General Department of Protective Security and Emergency at Dubai Police organised a community initiative under the title "Congratulations on Your Success" to honour the high-achieving children of employees who excelled in their high school studies. The initiative aimed to recognise their achievements and encourage them to continue excelling academically.

The event, held at the Dubai Police Officers Club, was attended by Brigadier Obaid Mubarak Al Ketbi, Director of the General Department of Protective Security and Emergency; his Deputy for Emergency Affairs, Brigadier Hisham Al Suwaidi; Brigadier Ayoub Abdullah, Director of the Field Operations Department; Colonel Ahmed Salem Al Mansouri, Deputy Director of the General Department for Entities Security Affairs; along with a number of department directors, officers, outstanding students, and their parents.

Brig. Obaid Al Ketbi affirmed that the General Department of Protective Security and Emergency is keen to strengthen communication and share in the joy of its employees and their children on all occasions, particularly their children's academic excellence. He noted that these distinguished achievements are the result of parents' efforts and the support provided by Dubai Police to ensure the happiness of its personnel. He urged the students to continue their education, pursue the highest academic qualifications, and contribute to the nation's journey of development and comprehensive progress in the United Arab Emirates.

Brig. Obaid Al Ketbi stated that investing in education is an investment in the future of the nation, noting that supporting and nurturing outstanding students reinforces a culture of excellence and leadership, and reflects Dubai Police's commitment to encouraging promising talents who will lead the nation's development and progress.

He also expressed his pride in the achievements of the employees' children, emphasising that this initiative serves as recognition of their efforts throughout their educational journey and as support for the families who were key partners in their success. “Innovation and excellence in education are the foundation upon which nations are built, and that the Department is committed to supporting these ambitious young talents,” Brig. Al Ketbi contined.
