Sharjah: His Excellency Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi - Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police - received at the police headquarters a delegation from the Ministry of Economy headed by His Excellency Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Muaini - Assistant Undersecretary for the Intellectual Property Sector .
The purpose of the visit was to examine the intellectual property system and the contributions made by Sharjah Police to it, as well as to explore ways for the two parties to work together to increase the performance quality in the areas of innovation and intellectual property.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Brigadier General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer - Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, and a number of general directors and department directors, and from the delegation:  Khalfan Al Suwaidi - Director of the Innovation and Industrial Property Development Department - and Fatima Al Hosani - Director of the Copyright and Related Rights Department -  Fawzi Al-Jabri - Director of Trademarks Department - Marwa Al-Harmoudi - Chief Innovation Officer - Nawal Al-Junaibi - Senior Administrative - and  Aziza Al-Hammadi - Intellectual Works Registration Executive .

The meeting covered a number of significant subjects, including the Global Innovation Index, the intellectual property system, the initiatives and strategic orientations of the Ministry of Economy, and many facets of cooperation and partnership between the two sides. It examined the data and projects carried out by the Sharjah Police General Command, which helped to improve the work environment's innovation culture.

His Excellency Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Muaini received a memorial shield from the Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police at the end of the visit, who wished for continued close collaboration between the two parties in order to realize their goals of creating a prosperous and advanced entrepreneurial society.
