Dubai: Dubai Police has announced adding the new GWM "Tank 500" and "Tank 300"vehicles to its traffic patrol fleet as part of the force's continuous efforts toward enhancing security and traffic management capabilities by leveraging advanced innovative technologies to support public safety across the emirate.

Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, Acting Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Operations at Dubai Police, inaugurated the new patrol vehicles during a ceremony attended by senior Dubai Police officials and representatives from Al Naboodah’s Swaidan Trading, the strategic partner in this initiative. Key attendees included Brigadier Juma Salem bin Suwaidan, Acting Director of the General Department of Traffic, and representatives from Al Naboodah’s Swaidan Trading, including David Sun, General Manager, and Sani Bhatt, Sales and Marketing Director.

Major General Al Mazrouei highlighted that the new vehicles will be deployed to regulate traffic, enhance police presence in key tourist and vital areas, and respond rapidly to incidents and emergencies. Equipped with the latest innovative systems and artificial intelligence technologies, the "Tank 500" and "Tank 300" are designed to perform effectively across diverse security and traffic operations.

Al Mazrouei commended the fruitful collaboration with Al Naboodah’s Swaidan Trading, emphasising the importance of partnerships with the private sector to achieve shared strategic objectives.

This initiative reflects Dubai Police's dedication to building public trust, showcasing an advanced model of police presence, and aligning with the emirate's ambitious plans for future security and safety innovation.
