Abu Dhabi: In a significant achievement for gender representation in military fields, HM Ambassador to the UAE, Edward Hobart, and Defence Attaché Colonel Simon Thomson warmly welcomed Lt. Nouf Al Balooshi from Dubai Police to the British Embassy in Abu Dhabi. This momentous occasion celebrated Lt. Al Balooshi’s graduation as the first Emirati female officer from a UK Defence Academy postgraduate programme.

During the ceremony, Ambassador Hobart praised Lt. Al Balooshi's dedication and hard work, highlighting the importance of her achievement not only for herself but for future generations of women in the armed forces. “Lt.
