He noted that the upcoming phase would mark a major advancement in Dubai’s road safety system by enhancing smart infrastructure and boosting the expertise of national cadres, particularly traffic accident investigation specialists, whose work is vital to identifying root causes and proposing sustainable, scientifically based solutions.
He emphasised that such regular meetings play an essential role in shaping a safe, sustainable traffic environment that keeps pace with Dubai’s rapid growth and cements its global reputation for safety and security.
Discussion Topics
The session involved extensive discussions on key topics, including the unification of complaint channels to ensure quick and accurate response, avoid data loss, and prevent duplication.

Attendees explored developing new mechanisms for registering and categorising traffic violations and enhancing the appeals process.
They also stressed the importance of strengthening electronic integration with the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) to speed up incident management and reduce response times.
The discussions highlighted the vital role of expanding smart technologies such as the intelligent cameras and AI-powered systems for real-time incident monitoring. They also highlighted advanced training programmes for traffic accident investigators aimed at improving crash data analysis and supporting proactive accident prevention strategies.
Key Recommendations
The session concluded with several important recommendations, including establishing a unified platform for receiving and processing traffic reports linked to smart systems, launching comprehensive training initiatives to upskill accident investigators, enhancing awareness campaigns for all road users, and integrating AI in accident analysis.
