Dubai: The Dubai Police Officers Club is hosting the ‘Athletic Caravan Fitness Hub’, affiliated with the Dubai Police Sports Council, which will organize sports events for the ninth edition of the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC) 2025. This initiative aims to position Dubai as one of the most active cities in the world by encouraging participants to commit to 30 minutes of exercise each day for 30 days, from November 1 to 30.

Dr. Mariam Anas Al Matrooshi, Chairperson of the Dubai Police Sports Council, announced that the ‘Athletic Caravan 30x30 Fitness Hub’ at the Dubai Police Officers Club will host daily sports activities for various departments and police stations. “This includes the 300,000-step challenge using the "STEPPI" app, along with sector-specific competitions,” she added.

Al Matrooshi also highlighted that the Hub is accredited by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism and will actively participate in the DFC, collaborating with over 30 sports federations and academies. She noted that a range of sports activities and educational workshops will be available for both the internal community of Dubai Police and the public, underscoring their commitment to fostering a culture of health and fitness among employees and the wider community.

She stated, "The activities at the ‘Athletic Caravan 30x30 Fitness Hub’ reflect Dubai Police's commitment to participating in the challenge, which aligns with the country's celebration of the 'Year of the Community.' Our goal is to strengthen social connections and transform daily physical activity into a shared experience that fosters sustainable healthy habits. These initiatives also support Dubai Police's efforts to enhance community happiness and build trust in the police through impactful sports and community programs."
