The UAE Journalists Association celebrates 'Flag Day' Dubai on November 3

            Dubai: The UAE Journalists Association celebrated "Flag Day," which falls on the third of November each year, at its headquarters in Al Muhaisnah 2, Dubai, with the presence of Fadila Al-Muaini, Chairperson of the Association's Board of Directors, along with several members of the association and journalists.
Fadila Al-Muaini affirmed that Flag Day is a cherished national occasion for the people of the UAE, embodying the meanings of unity and solidarity to preserve the nation's achievements and its civilizational and humanitarian gains. On this day, everyone renews their determination to continue the path of work and giving for the elevation and progress of the nation, ensuring that the flag of the UAE remains high and fluttering among the nations.
She said that the celebration of Flag Day embodies the highest meanings of loyalty and belonging to the homeland and its leadership, and expresses the unity of the people of the UAE under the banner of the Union, which was established by the late Sheik Zayed bin Sultan.
Al Nahyan, may God have mercy on him.She added: "On the third of November each year, hearts unite and hands rise to renew the pledge and loyalty to the flag of the nation, a symbol of pride and sovereignty, which continues to wave with honor and glory under the leadership of His Highness Sheik Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and his brothers, the Highnesses, members of the Supreme Council, Rulers of the Emirates."
The President of the UAE Journalists Association pointed out that Emirati media, with its various institutions and personnel, will remain the voice of the nation and a message that reflects its values and achievements, and a platform for conveying its accomplishments and leadership to the world. She affirmed that media responsibility is an integral part of every journalist's duty toward their country, in instilling belonging, enhancing national identity, and spreading the values of tolerance and respect upon which the UAE was founded.
On this occasion, Fadila Al-Muaini extended her highest congratulations and best wishes to His Highness Sheik Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, and to His Highness Sheik Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vise President of the State, Prime Minister, Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, and to Their Highnesses the members of the Supreme Council, Rulers of the Emirates, and His Highness Sheik Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vise President of the State, Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the Presidential Court, and to the noble people of the UAE on this precious national occasion.
