Dubai: Fadila Al-Muaini, President of the UAE Journalists Association, affirmed that Martyr's Day is a national occasion that embodies the highest meanings of loyalty and gratitude for the sacrifices of the nation's sons who gave their lives in defense of the UAE and to preserve its achievements.

She said that Martyr's Day is a source of pride and honor for every citizen and resident on the land of the Emirates, stressing that the sacrifices of the martyrs will remain immortal in the memory of the nation and the conscience of its people, and firmly established as a model to be emulated in devotion, heroism and loyalty to the leadership and the homeland.

She added that commemorating this anniversary embodies the wise leadership’s keenness to consolidate the values ​​of sacrifice and national commitment, enhance the spirit of unity and belonging, and immortalize the names of the martyrs who wrote bright pages in the history of the Emirates with their blood.

Fadila Al-Muaini also appreciated the great care that the leadership gives to the families of the martyrs, stressing that supporting and caring for them is a national duty and a shared societal responsibility, in appreciation of the heroism that the martyrs displayed in the fields of honor.
