Dubai: The Dubai Events Security Committee (ESC) held a coordination meeting to review field plans and operational readiness for securing New Year 2026 celebrations across the emirate. The meeting was chaired by Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Operations and Chair of the Committee.

Hosted at Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, the meeting was attended by His Excellency Mishal Abdul Karim Julfar Executive Director of the Corporation, along with ESC representatives from various Dubai Government entities.

Discussions focused on expected crowd locations for families and individuals attending the celebrations, particularly at fireworks sites, as well as entry and exit points, parking areas, and transport routes to and from key tourist and event locations across Dubai.

Participants also reviewed the operational plans of the New Year Events Security Committee, assessed the previous plan, and discussed further enhancements to keep pace with the annual growth and development of the event.

Major General Saif Muhair Al Mazrouei highlighted that New Year celebrations are among Dubai’s most prominent events, attracting global attention and extensive international media coverage, placing the emirate alongside major world capitals. He stressed the importance of strong teamwork and coordinated efforts to deliver events that reflect Dubai’s global reputation and the standing of the UAE.
