Dubai: The Indian Business and Professional Council (IBPC Dubai) will host a special cultural evening celebrating Pravasi Bhartiya Divas and Vishwa Hindi Divas on 9 January 2026 at India Club, Dubai, bringing together members of the Indian diaspora, corporate leaders and cultural enthusiasts.

Curated in association with Consulate General of India, this event will seamlessly integrate Pravasi Bhartiya Divas with Vishwa Hindi Divas, highlighting the global relevance of the Hindi language and India’s rich linguistic heritage. The celebration is particularly significant as IBPC Dubai is home to the highest number of Pravasi Bhartiya Award recipients, including Vasu Shroff, Ramesh Ramakrishnan, Surender Singh Kandhari and Chairman Siddharth Balachandran, who will all be present. 

The evening will feature poetry recitations in Hindi and Indian regional dialects, a dialogue with Pravasi Bhartiya Awardees, a live musical performance by SARGAM, followed by dinner. The program underscores IBPC Dubai’s commitment to fostering cultural pride alongside professional and community engagement.

Vishwa Hindi Divas, observed annually to promote Hindi globally, also coincides with the Prime Minister of India’s message circulated across Indian missions worldwide.
“As IBPC Dubai ushers in 2026, the evening aims to celebrate language, literature and the shared identity of the Indian diaspora, while strengthening cultural and professional bonds within the UAE,” said IBPC Dubai Secretary General Dr Sahitya Chaturvedi.
