Dubai: Residents’ safety, faster services, and smarter policing were at the centre of an inspection visit by His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, to Nad Al Sheba Police Station.

The visit, part of a wider Dubai Police inspection programme, focused on how the station supports the community on a daily basis.

Al Marri reviewed how quickly services are delivered, how teams are trained, and how initiatives are designed to improve both public satisfaction and employee wellbeing.

One of the key highlights was the station’s achievement of 100% security coverage, reflecting its readiness to respond across the area. The team also showcased its use of smart systems, including advanced monitoring and control room operations that help ensure a continuous sense of safety for residents.

The station’s role goes beyond policing, with 351 security and community events delivered, ranging from securing major public events such as the Dubai World Cup and sporting tournaments to supporting local activities and initiatives.

Efforts to enhance daily life were also evident through traffic inspection points targeting violating vehicles in Nad Al Sheba, as well as workplace initiatives that led to a 98.8% employee happiness rate in 2025, helping ensure motivated teams on the ground.
