Al Rashidiya Police Station Records 99.05% Safety Perception Rate

Dubai: Serving more than 855,000 residents across 12 vital areas in Dubai, Al Rashidiya Police Station continues to strengthen its role as a key pillar in the emirate’s security system through high safety indicators, smart policing services, and continuous operational development.
His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander in Chief of Dubai Police, reviewed the station’s achievements and operational readiness during an inspection visit conducted as part of Dubai Police’s annual inspection programme covering general departments and police stations.
The visit was attended by Major General Hareb Mohammad Al Shamsi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Affairs; Major General Eid Mohammad Thani, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Investigation Affairs; Brigadier Majid Al Suwaidi, Director of the General Department of Police Stations; Brigadier Sultan Al Owais, Deputy Director for Deira Police Stations Affairs; Brigadier Dr Ibrahim Bin Saba’a, Deputy Director of the General Department of Excellence and Pioneering; Brigadier Ahmad Al Muhairi, Director of the Inspection and Control Department; Colonel Obaid Al Rayhi, Director of Al Rashidiya Police Station; Lieutenant Colonel Yasser Al Hashemi, Deputy Director of the Station; Lieutenant Colonel Dr Abdulrazzaq Abdulrahim, Head of the Inspection Section; along with several officers.
During the inspection, Al Marri reviewed the station’s operational mechanisms, strategic indicators, and policing services aimed at enhancing community safety and improving customer satisfaction in line with Dubai Police’s vision for institutional excellence.
He was also briefed on the geographical scope of the station, which covers Al Rashidiya, Mirdif, Umm Ramool, Nad Al Hamar, Al Warqaa 4, Mushrif, Festival City, International City, and Ras Al Khor Industrial Areas 1, 2, and 3. The station oversees an area exceeding 101 square kilometres, reflecting its strategic importance in serving residential, commercial, and industrial communities.
The station achieved several notable indicators, including a 99.05% safety perception rate and a 97.45% confidence rate in the nearby police station. It also recorded 98.2% employee happiness, earned five institutional excellence awards, and implemented 221 development suggestions as part of its innovation and continuous improvement efforts.
Al Marri praised the station’s field readiness, operational efficiency, and commitment to developing proactive and smart policing services that contribute to enhancing quality of life and maintaining community security throughout Dubai.
He emphasised that the achievements realised by police stations are driven by the continuous support of the wise leadership and the dedicated efforts of security and administrative teams working with a unified vision and strong sense of responsibility.
At the conclusion of the visit, Al Marri commended the personnel of Al Rashidiya Police Station for their dedication and professionalism, stressing the importance of sustaining development efforts and further enhancing security and service performance indicators to meet future aspirations.
