Dubai Police Academy Celebrates Graduation of 78 Students Across Advanced Academic and Professional Programmes

Dubai: His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdulla Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, attended the graduation ceremony of 78 students from Dubai Police Academy, marking the successful completion of doctoral, master’s, bachelor’s, and professional programmes in resilience and crisis management.
The graduating class included 13 doctoral graduates, 24 master’s graduates, 17 bachelor’s graduates, and 24 graduates from the Professional Programme in Resilience and Crisis Management.
Held at Maktoum Bin Rashid Hall, the ceremony was attended by senior government officials, assistant commanders in chief, directors of general departments, dignitaries, and prominent figures from across Dubai.
Congratulating the graduates, Al Marri said the achievement reflects the UAE leadership’s commitment to empowering national talents through education, specialised training, and knowledge development. He described the graduates as a highly qualified generation prepared to contribute to the nation’s security, stability, and future progress.
He noted that Dubai Police continues to strengthen its policing and security capabilities through innovation, artificial intelligence, and internationally recognised standards while preparing cadres capable of responding to evolving security challenges with professionalism and efficiency.
Al Marri also praised Dubai Police Academy’s growing role as a leading academic and security institution that combines academic excellence with practical training to prepare future police leaders capable of innovation and impactful leadership.
Brigadier Badran Al Shamsi, Assistant Commander in Chief for Academic and Training Affairs, said the graduation reflects the leadership’s vision of investing in people and empowering national competencies through education and professional development.
Brigadier Dr Sultan Abdul Hamid Al Jammal, Director of Dubai Police Academy, highlighted the academy’s specialised programmes and advanced educational environment aligned with the latest international standards, noting that the institution continues to prepare graduates equipped with both academic expertise and professional discipline.
Speaking on behalf of the graduates, Dr Ahmad Saeed Bin Meshar, Secretary General of the Supreme Legislation Committee in Dubai and one of the doctoral graduates, described graduation from Dubai Police Academy as the beginning of a new chapter centred on responsibility, service, and continued excellence in serving the nation.
