Dubai: Dubai Police have arrested a group of young men involved in a violent altercation using bladed weapons, authorities confirmed.

Police also detained another individual for filming the incident and sharing the footage online. All necessary legal measures have been taken against those involved, and the suspects have been referred to the competent authorities for further action.

Authorities reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining public safety and urged residents to report any unlawful or suspicious behaviour through official channels. Community members can report incidents using the Dubai Police smart app, through the “Police Eye” service, or by calling 999.

The “Police Eye” feature, available on the Dubai Police app, enables residents to confidentially report suspicious activities, disturbances, brawls, antisocial behaviour, alcohol or drug-related offences, and other violations. Users can also attach photos, videos, voice recordings, and location details while submitting reports.

Dubai Police stressed that violations and illegal activities should be reported directly to authorities through official platforms. Officials warned the public against posting, publishing, or sharing videos of crimes or illegal acts on social media or other online platforms in the UAE.
