Dubai: The Positive Spirit Council, in cooperation with Al Khawaneej Police Station, the General Department of Human Rights, and strategic partners, organised the "Al Ttay Community Forum" for labours in the Al Ttay area.

Held under the umbrella of the Ministry of Interior, the event drew a large crowd of over 10,000 labours, reflecting the values of solidarity and tolerance that Dubai embraces, alongside Dubai Police's commitment to enhancing quality of life and building communication bridges with all segments of society.

The event featured a festive atmosphere with a variety of entertainment, sports, and cultural activities. The venue was filled with joy and positive interaction, embodying appreciation and care for the labour community in recognition of their vital role in the nation's development and construction.

The event included a performance by the Dubai Police Music Band, which added a special national spirit, along with captivating shows by the K9 Police Dog Unit of the General Department of Protective Security and Emergency. In addition, the General Department of Transport and Rescue also participated with awareness lectures.

The "Labours’ Support Vehicle" from the General Department of Human Rights was also present, offering direct awareness and humanitarian services to labours, answering their queries, and providing the necessary support and guidance – reflecting Dubai Police's commitment to protecting rights and enhancing community and legal awareness.

The forum also featured the "Your Voice is Heard" initiative, with participation of the General Department of Criminal Investigation; the General Department of Anti-Narcotics; the General Department of Police Stations, represented by Al Khawaneej Police Station, and Suburban Police Point; the Victim Support Centre; the General Department of Human Rights; the General Department of Traffic, and the General Department of Community Happiness, represented by the Security Awareness Department and the Community Relations Department. These departments responded to public inquiries and provided direct community and security awareness, advice, and guidance.

Furthermore, the event included various sports and entertainment competitions, spreading joy and positive energy among the attendees, along with the distribution of prizes and gifts – reflecting the Positive Spirit Council's commitment to fostering the concept of community partnership and promoting harmony and human closeness among people of different cultures and nationalities .

Fatima Buhajeer, Chairperson of the Positive Spirit Council, affirmed that organising the Al Ttay Community Forum translates Dubai Police's vision of strengthening community cohesion and reaching out to all segments of society. She noted that labours are essential partners in the development process and receive full appreciation and care.

She stated: "Our goal through such forums is to create joyful human moments that enhance feelings of happiness and belonging, and to reaffirm that Dubai is a city that embraces everyone with love and respect. We also strive to provide an interactive environment that combines awareness, entertainment, and community services within a framework that reflects the values of tolerance and coexistence that characterise the UAE.
