Lahbab Police Station Listens to Residents Through \'Your Voice is Heard\' Initiative

Dubai: Dubai Police, represented by Lahbab Police Station, organised the 'Your Voice is Heard' initiative to strengthen communication and establish direct engagement channels with citizens, residents, and partners within the station's jurisdiction, enabling them to share their feedback and suggestions to enhance quality of life.

The event was attended by His Excellency Major General Eid Mohammed Thani Hareb, Assistant Commandant for Criminal Investigation, Brigadier Dr Mubarak Saeed Salem bin Nawas Al Ketbi, Director of Lahbab Police Station, along with a number of senior officers and citizens from the areas of Lahbab, Al Aweer, Nazwa, and Margham.

His Excellency Major General Eid Mohammed Thani Hareb welcomed the attendees, affirming that the initiative reflects the commitment of Dubai Police – under the directives of His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander‑in‑Chief of Dubai Police, and the follow‑up of His Excellency Major General Hareb Mohammed Al Shamsi, Deputy Commander‑in‑Chief for Criminal Affairs – to listen closely to community feedback and suggestions. He noted that this contributes to improving and developing services in accordance with the highest international standards and practices, and aligns with government directives in this regard.

Meanwhile, Brigadier Dr Mubarak Saeed Salem bin Nawas Al Ketbi affirmed that Dubai Police takes all opinions and suggestions received from community members into serious consideration and follows up on them. He emphasised that this is part of its ongoing commitment to enhancing service levels and quality of life.

He explained that the 'Your Voice is Heard' initiative also aims to raise awareness of Dubai Police services and strengthen communication channels, and he extended his thanks to all participants.

The initiative included a presentation on several community-focused programmes, along with an overview of Dubai Police's security and community services available at police stations, through the official website, and through the smart app.

Afterwards, H.E. Major General Eid Mohammed Thani Hareb and Brigadier Dr Mubarak Saeed Salem bin Nawas Al Ketbi listened to the opinions, suggestions, observations, and questions of the attendees, commending their cooperation with Dubai Police.

In conclusion, the attendees praised Dubai Police's efforts to strengthen community communication channels, affirming the importance of such initiatives in fostering cooperation between the police and the community and in providing the best services easily and conveniently.
