Sharjah: Sharjah Police honoured an Arab resident in recognition of his security awareness, vigilance and responsible cooperation with security authorities.
The recognition took place in the presence of Colonel Humaid Saeed bin Sahoo, Director of the Commercial Areas Police Department.

The resident was honoured for noticing suspicious behaviour and responding with awareness and caution by reporting the matter to the relevant security authorities, enabling them to take the necessary action in accordance with established procedures.

Sharjah Police stressed that the vigilance and awareness of community members play an important role in supporting security efforts and enabling authorities to respond swiftly to suspicious behaviour and activity.

The force praised the resident's responsible actions, noting that the recognition reflects its commitment to honouring positive community members who help maintain security and stability.

Sharjah Police called on the public to contact 999 for emergencies and 901 for enquiries and non-emergency matters.

It also urged community members to avoid direct intervention or confrontation with suspicious individuals and to leave the handling of such situations to the specialised security authorities.
