Dubai: Secretary (CPV & OIA) of the Ministry of External Affairs, Ms. Sripriya Ranganathan, paid floral tributes at the bust of Mahatma Gandhi at the Consulate General of India in Dubai, recalling his enduring values of peace, truth and non-violence.

The programme was also attended by Indian Ambassador Deepak Mittal and Dr. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, Consul General of India in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, along with other senior officials.

The tribute was organised as part of #SevaPakhwada2026, highlighting the importance of public service, community participation and social responsibility.

As part of the programme, Ms. Ranganathan also planted a sapling at the Consulate premises, marking the occasion with a message of environmental responsibility and a shared commitment to a greener future.

The programme highlighted the enduring relevance of Mahatma Gandhi’s principles and the importance of promoting peace, non-violence, community service and environmental consciousness through collective participation.
