Dubai: The Dubai Police has recently signed an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with Rabdan Academy to enhance cooperation in scientific and training fields of common interest and develop scientific and technical research and the exchange of capabilities and expertise.

Signed on the sideline of the World Police Summit, which is taking place from 14-17 March at Expo 2020, the MoU stipulates the development of joint and specialised academic, vocational and training programs in the areas of safety, security, defence, emergency preparedness and crisis management. It also paves the way for cooperation in research and development and provision of technical and consulting services, and exchanging experiences and relevant information.

The MoU was signed by Major General PhD Muhammad Ahmad bin Fahd, Assistant Commandant of Training & Academic Affairs at Dubai Police, and James Anthony Morse, President of Rabdan Academy.

Maj. Gen bin Fahd explained that Dubai Police prioritises the training and qualification of human cadres. “Dubai Police is keen to cooperate with international institutions and companies and learn about the best practices in training and specialised programs on the latest in the security and police fields,” he said.
