Fujairah: H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, underscored the pivotal role of environmental initiatives in advancing Fujairah's strategic plan, aimed at safeguarding the environment and conserving its natural resources through specialised programmes adhering to the highest quality standards.

This came as Sheikh Mohammed chaired the meeting of the Fujairah Environment Authority's Board of Directors at his office in the Emiri Court, during which he was briefed on the Authority's operational reports, current and prospective plans, as well as various projects and initiatives dedicated to bolstering environmental sustainability, biodiversity, and addressing climate change.

H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad highlighted the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, aimed at realising the country’s vision for environmental preservation. This vision, grounded in the pivotal role of environmental conservation in sustainable development, is aligned with global efforts in climate and environmental action.

The members of the Authority’s Board of Directors expressed their gratitude to the Crown Prince for his continued support, reaffirming their commitment to diligently work towards achieving Fujairah’s environmental aspirations and objectives.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, Director of the Office of H.H. Crown Prince of Fujairah.
