Dubai: Dubai Police, represented by the Positive Spirit Council, organised the Ahlan Ramadan community event in collaboration with strategic partners.

 The event occurred at the Gold Souk in the Naif area, aligning with the Year of Community initiative under the theme “Hand in Hand.”

Fatima Bouhjair, Chairperson of the Positive Spirit Council at Dubai Police, emphasised that Ahlan Ramadan reflects the council’s commitment to promoting tolerance and social cohesion. The event aimed to spread joy among residents of Naif during the holy month of Ramadan while also raising awareness about various police services that enhance security and safety for the community.

Bouhjair highlighted that the Positive Spirit Council contributes to achieving Dubai Police’s strategic objectives by strengthening its community role and delivering awareness messages innovatively suited to Ramadan. This initiative plays a key role in maintaining high levels of security and safety in Naif, an area known for its vibrant tourism and bustling traditional markets.

The Ahlan Ramadan event featured traditional performances, folk music, and a special show by the Dubai Police musical band, which played patriotic compositions. The programme also included bicycle performances, luxury police patrol displays, and appearances by the mascots Officer Mansour and Officer Amina. Additionally, Ramadan lanterns, gifts, and sweets were distributed to attendees, creating a festive and engaging atmosphere.
