Dubai: Dubai Police, represented by the Tourist Police Department under the General Department of Criminal Investigation, will participate in the upcoming Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2025, set to open on Monday at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

 

Brigadier Harib Al Shamsi, Acting Director of the General Department of Criminal Investigation, affirmed that Dubai Police’s annual participation in the exhibition reflects its ongoing commitment to engaging in local, regional, and international forums. It also underlines the force’s strategic role in supporting the tourism sector with cutting-edge security services that accommodate cultural diversity and global dynamics. “ATM provides an ideal platform to showcase our smart services and innovative initiatives that contribute to maintaining Dubai’s global reputation as a secure and welcoming destination,” he said.

 

Brigadier Al Shamsi further highlighted the exhibition’s importance as a hub for exchanging ideas with leaders in travel and tourism, exploring new partnerships with regional and international organisations involved in tourism security, and advancing the global conversation on building future-ready, resilient tourism safety infrastructure.

 

Brigadier Khalfan Obaid Al Jallaf, Director of the Tourist Police Department, noted that the participation also aims to strengthen public engagement and raise awareness among visitors and tourists about the range of community and security services provided by Dubai Police, as well as how to access them. “Our presence at ATM is to inform tourists on how we support their safety and experience in Dubai,” he said.
