Shirdi: A momentous event unfolded this morning in the Shri Saibaba Temple complex as a grand inauguration ceremony marked the unveiling of a towering 108-foot-tall National Flag near Gate No. 01. The occasion, brimming with patriotic fervor and spiritual significance, drew a large gathering of dignitaries, officials, and Sai devotees.

The monumental flag has been erected with the generous support of the Flag Foundation of India and was formally inaugurated by its Chairman and Member of Parliament, Shri Naveen Jindal. He was joined by Shirdi MP Bhausaheb Wakchaure and Shri Saibaba Sansthan’s Chief Executive Officer, Gorakh Gadgilkar (IAS) in the flag-hoisting ceremony.

Also present at the ceremony were Deputy CEO Bhimraaj Darade, Administrative Officer Sandeepkumar Bhosale, Pragna Mahandule-Sinare, Vishwanath Bajaj, Chief Accounts Officer Mangala Varade, Executive Engineer Bhikan Dabhade, Security Officer Rohidas Mali, along with local residents, Sansthan department heads, staff, and a large number of Sai devotees.

In his address, CEO Gorakh Gadgilkar emphasized the symbolic importance of the National Flag within the sacred precincts of the temple, describing it as a tribute to national unity and devotion. MP Bhausaheb Wakchaure and MP Naveen Jindal shared their heartfelt reflections, praising the initiative as a powerful embodiment of patriotism.

On behalf of the Flag Foundation of India, Lt. Col. Sunil Narola expressed gratitude to the organizers and participants for making the event a grand success. The ceremony was seamlessly anchored by Prof. Khandekar from Shri Saibaba Mahavidyalaya.
