Dubai Police tell Naif Community 'Your Voice is Heard'

Dubai: Dubai Police, represented by Naif Police Station, organised an open community meeting titled “Your Voice is Heard” with residents of the station’s jurisdiction, including citizens, residents, and strategic partners. The initiative aims to strengthen communication, promote direct engagement, and encourage community members to share their feedback and suggestions.
The event, held at Naif Police Station, was attended by Colonel Muhammad Masoud Al Shehhi, Deputy Director of Naif Police Station, along with senior officers, officials, residents, and partners from the area.
Strengthening Community Engagement
In his opening remarks, Colonel Al Shehhi stated that the meeting reflects the vision of the wise leadership to foster effective and constructive communication with the public, ensuring the quality of services provided. He emphasised that Dubai Police values all opinions and suggestions received from the community, follows them up, and keeps its police stations open and ready at all times to engage with the public. He added that such initiatives help reduce bureaucracy and enhance efficiency, quality, and flexibility in government services.
About “Your Voice is Heard”
Colonel Al Shehhi provided an overview of the “Your Voice is Heard” initiative, which is designed to raise community awareness of the services provided by Dubai Police by opening direct communication channels with residents. The initiative also seeks to promote Dubai Police services, involve the community in enhancing safety and security, review feedback and proposals, and organise joint activities and events.
Showcasing Dubai Police Services
The meeting included presentations on key services and initiatives that contribute to community happiness and security. These included the e-Crime platform for reporting cybercrimes, the Police Eye service, awareness initiatives on traffic and criminal safety, and educational programmes by the International Centre for Protecting Youth from Drugs, highlighting the dangers of narcotics.
The event also highlighted the efforts of the “Positive Spirit” Council, which organises initiatives to strengthen police-community relations and promote sports as a lifestyle and a healthy habit for all individuals.
Community Participation
Participants engaged in discussions and raised inquiries on various topics, such as traffic laws and safety regulations, raising awareness among students about the dangers of drugs, and holding regular forums with neighbourhood residents to address their needs and concerns.
Colonel Al Shehhi thanked the attendees for their active participation and stressed that the initiative reflects Dubai Police’s ongoing commitment to improving and developing services in line with the highest international standards and practices.
