Dubai: Brigadier Ali Khalfan Al Mansouri, Director of the General Department of Community Happiness at Dubai Police, chaired a coordination meeting of the Joint Media Team for the New Year 2026 celebrations, bringing together representatives from government, semi government and private entities involved in festive events across Dubai.

During the meeting, Brigadier Al Mansouri stressed the importance of coordinated media efforts in supporting one of Dubai’s most anticipated annual events, which attracts large numbers of visitors across multiple celebration sites. He noted that effective media coverage plays a key role in showcasing Dubai’s organisational excellence and the UAE’s positive image on the global stage.

Participants discussed observations and questions raised by partner entities and reviewed the shared media plans covering all stages of the celebrations, before, during and after the events.

Concluding the meeting, Brigadier Al Mansouri called on all partners to strengthen cooperation, work in a unified team spirit and continue their efforts to ensure the success of the New Year 2026 celebrations.
