Dubai: The grand finale of the Emaar Polo Cup 2026 unfolded in spectacular fashion at the Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club, as Bin Drai narrowly defeated Jehangiri in a gripping Championship Final, sealing victory with an official score of 7–6.5. The closely contested match showcased the very best of medium-goal polo, delivering an electrifying display of precision, pace and horsemanship before a packed crowd of polo enthusiasts, families and VIP guests.

From the opening chukker, the intensity was undeniable as both teams set an electrifying pace. Bin Drai demonstrated fluid teamwork while Jehangiri countered with disciplined defence and decisive breakaways. Bin Drai set the tone early, establishing momentum with sharp attacking play and cohesive teamwork, finishing the first chukker 3–1.5 ahead. Jehangiri responded with discipline and determination, tightening their defence and capitalising on key opportunities to stay within striking distance throughout the match.
By the third chukker, the scoreboard reflected the razor-thin margins that defined the final, with Bin Drai holding a narrow advantage at 6–4.5. The fourth and final chukker saw Jehangiri mount a strong comeback effort, pushing the score to 7–6.5 and keeping spectators on edge until the final whistle. Ultimately, Bin Drai’s composure under pressure and clinical finishing secured the championship title.

Statistically, the match highlighted the competitive edge between the two sides. Bin Drai converted six field goals and dominated throw-ins, while Jehangiri demonstrated resilience with strong penalty conversions. Earlier in the day, Ankara claimed a 10–8 victory over Noon Polo in the Subsidiary Final, adding further excitement to a day defined by sporting excellence.
