Abu Dhabi: Citizens and residents across the UAE can now take part in a new online initiative that allows them to express their appreciation, commitment, and loyalty to the country and its leadership through the UAE National Pledge 2026.

The digital pledge, launched by Sandooq Al Watan, a non-profit organization operating under Erth Zayed Philanthropies, aims to unite people from diverse nationalities, cultures, and languages living in the UAE. The initiative seeks to bring the community together in a shared expression of gratitude and support for UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

According to Sandooq Al Watan, the pledge was inspired by the stories and experiences of people living across the UAE and reflects the values of unity, loyalty, and social cohesion.

How to Participate

Individuals can sign the pledge by visiting the official website pledge.ae. The platform is available in several languages, including Arabic, Urdu, Bengali, Malayalam, Chinese, and Filipino, making it accessible to a broad segment of the UAE’s multicultural population.

Participants are required to enter their name and email address before clicking the participation button to complete the process.

Open to All Citizens and Residents

The initiative is open to every UAE citizen and resident. Sandooq Al Watan noted that the General Secretariat of the Cabinet has also endorsed the initiative and is promoting it across ministries, federal authorities, and government institutions.

Participation is completely free and conducted entirely online.

Family Members Can Be Included

Residents and citizens can also sign the pledge on behalf of their family members. The platform currently allows users to add up to 10 family members as part of their pledge.

Purpose of the Initiative

The UAE National Pledge is built around four key principles:

• Gratitude and Appreciation: Recognizing the UAE leadership for providing security, dignity, and opportunities for all citizens and residents.
• Following the National Example: Embracing values such as dedication, generosity, and loyalty exemplified by the UAE President.
• Collective Commitment: Promoting harmony, coexistence, and unity among all members of society.
• Continuity and Legacy: Passing these values on to future generations as part of an ongoing national journey.

Certificate of Appreciation

Upon completing the pledge, participants receive a downloadable Certificate of Appreciation, which can be saved and shared. The certificate is available in both landscape and portrait formats.

The initiative reflects the UAE’s ongoing efforts to strengthen social unity and foster a shared sense of belonging among everyone who calls the country home.
