Dubai: The fourth edition of the DP World ILT20 Development Tournament gets underway today at the ICC Academy in Dubai, with fans across the world able to follow the action live through a range of streaming platforms.

In India, all matches will be available on FanCode, while fans across the UAE and wider GCC can watch live on the DP World ILT20 Official YouTube channel (@ILT20Official). Styx Sports will stream the tournament across the rest of the world.

The tournament gets underway today with Desert Vipers Development taking on MI Emirates Development at 5pm, followed by Gulf Giants Development facing Dubai Capitals Development at 9pm.

The fourth edition will feature a strong contingent of UAE talent. Muhammad Waseem (MI Emirates Development), Alishan Sharafu (Abu Dhabi Knight Riders Development), Khuzaima Bin Tanveer and Vriitya Aravind (Desert Vipers Development), Aayan Afzal Khan (Gulf Giants Development), Junaid Siddique and Harpreet Singh Bhatia (Sharjah Warriorz Development) are among the UAE players set to feature, alongside a number of emerging cricketers looking to make their mark on the development stage.

With the DP World ILT20 Season 5 Player Auction scheduled for 1 October 2026 in Dubai, the DP World ILT20 Development Tournament provides an important platform for upcoming and established players alike to showcase their skills. Several players who have featured in previous editions have subsequently progressed to DP World ILT20 squads, underlining the tournament’s role in creating a pathway for emerging talent.

The six franchise development sides will compete in a single-league, round-robin format before the semi-finals and final, with all matches taking place at the ICC Academy in Dubai. The tournament will conclude with the final on 24 September.
