Dubai: Lochan Sehra, Secretary of the Labour, Skill Development and Employment Department of the Government of Gujarat, visited the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) and met Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of DMCC.

The visit provided an opportunity to gain insights into DMCC’s role as a leading global hub for trade and commodities and its contribution to strengthening Dubai’s business ecosystem.

During the meeting, discussions focused on exploring opportunities for enhanced collaboration between Gujarat and Dubai in key areas, including trade, investment and skill development.

The interaction highlighted the potential for stronger economic ties and knowledge exchange between Gujarat and Dubai, particularly in areas that support business growth, employment opportunities and workforce development.

The visit reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen international partnerships and explore new avenues for cooperation between Gujarat and Dubai, leveraging their respective strengths in trade, investment and human resource development.
