Lebanese Superstar Assi El Hallani visits Smart Police Station at EXPO 2020

Dubai: Lebanese music icon Assi El Hallani has recently paid a visit to the Dubai Smart Police Station (SPS) at Expo 2020, which provides policing services in seven languages to visitors of the global event round the clock and without human intervention.

Hallani was briefed on the self-service station and its walk-in model, which enable customers to complete transactions smoothly and without visiting the traditional police stations or waiting in queues.

Hallani expressed his admiration of policing services provided by the Dubai Police SPS project, which has been registered in the Guinness Book of Records as the first smart police station of its kind in the world that operates without human intervention.

“It’s truly impressive how Dubai Police smart services allow citizens, residents and visitors to submit reports without going to an actual police station” “Dubai and the UAE always surprise us with their remarkable capabilities, their use of smart technologies, and the various options they provide for people. We are extremely proud of this majestic country,” he said.

Hallani said the UAE had become a welcoming heart for Arabs and the whole world. He noted that Expo 2020 is an excellent example of how the UAE has succeeded in gathering the world as a whole in one place.

“I hope the UAE flourishes with forever lasting security, safety and prosperity”, he concluded.

The SPS offers visitors 27 key services, such as reporting crimes and traffic incidents, and 33 community-based services. They can also visit the SPS to obtain permits and certificates conveniently and easily communicate with officers who speak seven different languages through video calls.
