Dubai: The Dubai Police General Command joined the world in marking the World Immunization Week by organizing a free vaccination drive for the force’s officers and employees. 

Colonel Dr Badr Sultan bin Qaba, director of the Dubai Police Health Centre, confirmed that their participation in the World Immunization Week is within the Dubai Police’s keenness to participate in global health events to raise health awareness and combat diseases preventing their spread. He indicated that the World Week Immunization aims to promote the use of vaccines in protecting people of all ages against vaccine-preventable diseases.

Col. Bin Qaba explained that the Dubai Police Health Centre provided employees with three important types of vaccinations, namely seasonal influenza, hepatitis, and meningitis, in addition to providing medical consultations and complimentary gifts.
