Dubai: The Dubai Tourist Police Department at the General Department of Criminal Investigation (CID) has recently organized a Tourism Security  Awareness Forum at the JW Marriott Marquis Hotel to educate the hospitality industry in the emirate on smart police services security procedures and public safety measures.

The Forum was organized under the guidance of Dubai Police's Commander-in-Chief, H.E Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, upon the directives of H.E Maj. Gen. Expert Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansoori, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Investigation Affairs of Dubai Police, and the follow-up of Brigadier Jamal Salem Al Jallaf, Director of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) at Dubai Police. 

Colonel Khalfan Al Jallaf, Director of the Tourist Police Department, pointed out that the Forum contained seven significant lectures on the various services provided by the Dubai Police and the Dubai Economy and Tourism Department, cyber-crimes, issues of drug abuse, cyber-crimes, cases of drug abuse, SPS services, recurring reports, and 901 services.Lieutenant Khalid Mohammed Banasser explained about the SPS services.

The Forum aimed to raise awareness among workers in the hospitality sector, enhance communication and exchange experiences between different entities and departments in Dubai. 

Toward the end of the Forum, Col. Al Jallaf honoured contributed partners to appreciate their efforts towards the Forum's success.
